Freedom

Corinna is gone. During 1 year Caitlin had to front two notice that have affect her so much and the most interesting is that both Cass and Corinna which have became Caitlin's sister are gone. Not even Rogerson because their story all ready got to an end, Caitlin wasn't in love as she was before she thought that it was time to find someone else. During her life she learned what true love means and how that can change you life specially the love between sisters. One day Caitlin received a note of Cass saying how much you have to enjoy life but specially remember that you have to live it as you want no has other persons tell you to do it.Caitlin have been gone for some weeks and the night she came back home she have a little surprise. She opened the door and there they were : mom,dad, Rina, Rogerson, Corinna and beside them Cass was there, after one year they saw their faces again and felt that their love as sisters have never been gone.


 "I'd spent so much of my life working hard to make Mom and Dad happy,to be what everyone thought i should be"(pg. 238)


That is what Cass told Caitlin on his letter and I think that Cass did very good on realzed that she was not doing things as she wanted. I loved that Cass have told that to Caitlin because that why Caitlin is going to think if what she is doing is because she wants.I can connect because i remember one time i told my brother something like that, i said "in order to be happy of what you have made you have to be sure you did because you wanted not because someone told you to do it." And that is the truth because for me the definition of FREEDOM is making what you like and what you want but with limits.

"I don't want to run away in order to not do it."(pg.237)
In my opinion running away from things that scares you or that you are afraid to do them is the worst solution. In order for a person to fix their fears they have to front them.that's the only solution, It has happened to me when I have run scared of my problems or I just give up, but at the end I realize that i have take the worst solution to escape of that problems. That is why I think the best thing to do to become stronger is to always face it for harder or difficult it will be.

The book has got into and end.I really enjoyed every single chapter because it was book full of emotions and phrases who have make me realised how persons could be so important for us when they are gone but we don't appreciate that.I had also learned that to get what you want you should fight for it wo you could be happy that what you are getting is for your own choices and own decisions. I loved the characters because it seemed that even though they have many problems they know how to fight for that and how important is to be happy with your life and with yourself.

Reality

At the begging on this year Caitlin thought it will be the worst year because Cass went but since days past is wasn't that bad apart of his daily problems such as her mom with missed so much Cass she was separating with Caitlin and his other problem that was Cass. But during that year Caitlin also found persons that have made her change such as Rogerson and Coorin. Corin was a girl Caitlin meet because their mothers were friends but she found something interesting on her, they had a lot of things in common. After meeting that two persons, his boyfriend that change her into a strong and better person and Coorrin who became like Caitlin's sister and help her always she realized her life is not as bad as she thought.
But Caitlin also saw that their not perfect neither Rogerson also wasn't so perfect,he had became so important in her life that she will not know what she would do without him.

Caitlin had no time to do another thing that being with Rogerson, now she has no  time to see their friends or even study for school. I can see that problem in a good and in a bad way, the good way because she shows how much she really loves him and in a bad way because big things ( in this case Rogerson) are making Caitlin forget of little things or even other big things such as passing time with her family.I can connect with that because sometimes I give more importance to little things and forget that even though I some times don't like to do big things they are more important and significant than little things.

Is that how its supposed to be? imagine a future that maybe will never happen?make yourself illusions and then end sad?In my opinion we should be real, open our eyes to see REALITY. We should not try to life on a world of fantasy and even worst have a fantasy mind. I do think we should be positive  and think things are going to go right but not prove or be sure that its going to end like that. Maybe by the end of the story Caitlin will not be with Rogerson, and what is she going to do? what will then she imagine after thinking she was going to have a future with him.

Until now this book has be full of emotions, sad and happy. Caitlin is in a year where her life has change as well as her.She have made many decisions alone without the support of her mom or sister, she had his dad but in wasn't the same share their problems with her mom and his dad. I really like and enjoy Caitlins personality at this point of the story because now she docent worry what other think and also how mature you have to be when you take decisions. After living 16 years on a "perfect" world now she has to open her eyes and see what a real world looks like and how little things can become one of the most important thing on her life.

A reason for smiling again

The first two days Caitlin didn't knew anything about Rogerson, the boy he meet on the party.By day three she was waiting for some news about him, but the news she received that day wasn't from him, it was about her sister Cass. That afternoon Caitlin was watching a TV program with her mom when suddenly Cass appeared as part of the public, that news of knowing Cass was still alive make her forget for a while about Rogerson. But forgetting about him didn't lasted long, by the next day while she was with Rina, Caitlin, saw Rogerson and then they began to talk and by every single word he said Caitlin felt more in love with him.They had a Date that night and they both realized how much they truly love each other specially Caitlin, which being with him made him forget all her problems. But that night brought a lot of problems on their lifes specially for Rogerson who had a  fight with his dad when he comed back.

"That was rogersn, or so I was learning.he divided the world coolly into black and white, no grays or middle ground."(pg.93)

Love at first sight is not always the most important. Caitlin  felt in love of Rogerson in one night and eventhough she loves him, she didnt knew him completely. Caitlin was sure he would be the perfect man but she realize that nobody is perfect because each person has a negative or darck side. When I read this part of the book I was able to connect with many things in my life. This could not just happen with love but also with friends. It has happened many times that people try to seem as other persons and lie to fell higher than others. Eventually we always realize who really is that person and the truth of every lie.

A person can change a lot the personality of another and especially if that person is a big part of your life. I think it's okay for someone to help us fix our mistakes, but the only ones who can change our way of being is us and that we should be worrying about what he thought the gente. En this case Rogerson help Caitlin become a better person and open her eyes to the real world. He also helped her realize that in order to fix problems you have to open your eyes and fight without giving up.

Its really interesting how someone could become another person or change their appearance because of someone. I loved the personality Rogerson has with Caitlin because he always tries to help her and the most important thing is that he is always next to her when she needs help. Caitlin has also be there for Rogerson since day one and she loves him more than anyone because he had been the only person who has really accept her as she is and making her change on what she wants not on what Rogerson wants.

Dream Land

Caitlin woke up the day of his 16th birthday.Wishing all her family was going to wake her up singing the happy birthday song, but it didnt happened like that. She went down stairs and realised his father and her mom were crying, her sister Cassandra which was 18 years old, went from the house that night, she just let a note saying how much she loved them but she wanted yo go.They first thought it was because of his boyfriend but they were not sure of that. That day things began to change on Catlins life.The next week Caitlin began class and received the first call from his sister, she just said that she was fine.  Caitlin began cheerleading class with her best friend Rina and for some weird way Caitlin's mom was very proud about Caitlin being a cheerleader maybe it was the fact that Cass was also a cheerleader.After a presentation of cheerleading which resulted a terrible experience because Caitlin fault, the hole team had a party and that night Caitlin found a boy which make her fall in love.

When Cassandra went, Caitlin's life wasn't the same everything  had changed.Well in my case I don't have a sister but I do have 2 brothers. While I keep reading this book i have been thinking how awful will be if I go or if one of my brothers go, even though sometimes brothers/sisters have discussions or fight for everything  they still love each other. So i can connect to what Cassandra felt when her sister went because a sister or a brother could be the best person in your life, they will always be there for you and help you on everything.I really found it interesting how Caitlin and Cassandra loved each other and Cassandra decided to went without even telling her.

When Rina and Caitlin began cheerleading class, Caitlin wasn't sure if she really wanted that but she new that her mom will loved the idea of her becoming a cheerleader. I can connect this with a theme I learned in class which is the freedom of speech, in this case Caitlin is doing what other expects of her not what she expects of herself.In my opinion I think Caitlin should have the right to decide what she really wants and make what makes her happy. Now in days people have forgot the importance of each decision they took on their life because just one can change them forever.





Dream Land is book which completely grab my attention since the introducing part. These few pages the book made me get into a conclusion of something which is that we should be grateful with what you have because when you least expected things finish or people go. I also founded very interesting how in one night Caitlin found a reason to smile again and that reason was Rogerson.

Together Forever

Adam remember all the memories Mia was telling him about, he was impressed she remembers because she practically was on the border of dying, he remember her full of tubes on his body because of all the blood she loosed on the accident. After Mia and Adam finish talking Mia invited Adam to his house to take some rest.That day Adam is living for London, he woked up and saw Mia sleeping he began to think what he would without her, so he decided to keep sleeping after some hours Mia woked up as long with Adam but she had a sad and confused face.They began to talk about high school and how there was so much time to decide what would happen between them but now they only have one day.They decided to take their flight next day so they can be hable to talk, Adam tooked the decition to leave the band after his tour on London but Mia didn't agree with that. Both decided to be together and try it again, but how are they going to do that? Adam fuigered out that their concerts are not the same day so they are able to make both tours together.

Its that how it should be? people owning you? I really disagree on this quote with Adam because no one should own you, you should be able to take your own decisions because when everything is going to get into a end then you are going to be sorry about that. Like I have said before promises and relationships are never forever they end when you least expect. So maybe when you are with someone you should pass more time with that person than with other but not on a way on owning you and being 100 percent of the time together.

"You'd come to Japan with me?" She asks.

Its incredible how much you are able to love someone even when you don't imagine that. There is a lot of people which don't believe in love but at least one time they are going to love a person so much that it will be so hard to forget him/her.I think that love can influence you for doing good and bad thing or maybe take decisions that you are not agree. Love can change you life maybe for weeks days or hours but not forever.

Finally this book ended with a happy ending which I think is the better part. Adam and Mia realized that both are meant to be and that it would be hard for both to separates their selves again. The continuation of this book is a movie called If I stay this movie also talks about two persons that fall in love just as in the book. The ending on the movie and the book are really special because you figure out how you can let everything just for one person. I think that the best part of the ending is when they both decide to be next to each other forever even though they have completely different lives but after all decided to take the risk and privilege of being together.

This will be the last time they will see each other?

Since Mia was a baby she didn't like to go camp and Adam knew that but he wanted to have a special moment with ma. For the first time Mia agreed to go camping with Adam although she very nervous. Adam take Mia to a secret place to go camping, it was alongside the river, where a small inlet of water pooled calm and crystal clear. He brought all type go things so Mia could feel safe and happy for example all type of candies which Mia loved. Adam tried to make up the tent without help of Mia but he couldn’t, Mia saw Adam need help and in 10 minutes the tent was ready.They really enjoyed camping together, Adam played some music and talked about Adams and Mias life.But talking about their life and why Mia went let them to fight. Everything ended bad Mia went letting Adam alone towards the river.Mia was gone and Adam let her go,he went to walk on the street when suddenly Mia was in front of him and told him she needs to explain him everything that happened to her and the memories she has of him before the accident.

Its interesting how Adam shows how much he loves her but Mia dosent shows Adam. I really like how Adam treats Mia and the personality he has not only with her but also towards the people on his band and people who surroundes him. I have question that have make me wonder what Mia feels for Adam. Most of the times in the relationships girls are more romantic than boys but this time Adam is the romantic, so will that mean Adam loves more Mia than what she loves him? or if that is Mias personality and she is not affectionate as Adam.

Sometimes you make promises that while in love you don't follow them but when you fight or broke with some its interesting how the promises you have make comes directly into your mind.I can connect with part of the story but for me I used to try to forget promises I have made if I now that the promise will hurt me. I think that Adam should think as me because he said he has to let Mia go but in the future he will repent about promise that and he will miss her more than ever. Maybe he would even forgive his self about letting her go.

These chapters have been the most interesting since my point of view.I  have felt a lot of suspense even though this book is not a suspense story, that is not the only feeling i have experienced while reading,other feeling is love because of the way i saw how Adam and Mia loved each other but act like they didn't.Now i am sure that the ending will end with Adam and Mia together again.This have been my favourite part on the book and i wish that the ending will not disappoint me.

Undercover Secrets

After Mia and Adam finish eating it was time to say good bye but specially Adam was not ready for that,he also felt that Mia neither wanted to leave. They were walking towards Mias house by ninth avenue when they saw some homeless guys camping there they also saw bus terminal which had a bowling alley inside.Mia begin to show Adam all the incredible things New York has.They went to the bowling area,Mia couldn't bowl because on her accident she broke his elbow and is not completely fixed.Adam and Mia used to go bowling before,sometimes with Mias family. Adam began to bowl while Mia was telling Adam how she enjoyed in Julliard even though she had many problems with her room mates.
Shooting Stars was the band Adam was part of, Adam wrote 10 songs which fascinated the people on the band except for Mike.When they had the idea of going to celebrate the good Songs Adam wrote they decided to go to a bar.On the bar there were reporters waiting for Adam and begin to make him many questions when all of the sudden Mike went crazy and begin to talk bad of Adam infront of all the reports.Adam furious with Mike, decided to go.
 Adam tried to look for Mia again and he found her on the bus station, Mia could believe Adam was there in a bus station at 3 in the morning.But in seconds everybody reconized him so he grab Mia and went running.They began to walk on the subway, when Adam asked Mia : " Where the hell are you taking me anyway?" 
Mia answered : "Im taking you to my secret New York haunts." 
Adam furious told her to tell him where they were going because he was tired of secrets.Both Benin yo fight but ir didnt lasted for long.Finally Adam went with Mía to a ferry y hay has many things and  enjoyed a lot.

In this quote I can see the type of person Adam is.Its interesting how he did everything so he can see Mia again, but now that he is with her he dosent know what to tell her or what to do. In three years people can change a lot and I think that Adam is scared about that because he don't know if Mia is still the same as before or not. Another reason that Adam feels like that is because he is still in love with Mia and it have been so hard for him to don't see her that Adam don't want to lose her again.

Mia is a person which like secrets and surprises.I can connect with the personality Mia has because i also like to show the things or places that are significant to me with the people I love or that are important in my life.I really like Mias personality and the way she reacts towards things she is also a person which hates fighting and likes to make solutions by talking and not by screaming.Its also very instructing how Mia and Adam have totally different personalities but they still love each other. 



The book have really catch my attention because this is not a normal love story. Util this part of the story I have really enjoyed reading because in every chapter it makes me ask my self what would be the ending of this book.From what I have read I predict that Adam and Mia are going to be together and I will also like the ending for the story because I can infer how much they love each other even though they don't admitted but just with the actions we can realize that they have miss each other during there 3 years they didn't saw each other.

As in times past

They finally saw their face again since 3 years. Along with everything,they began to talk and sadly found out tomorrow will be the last day they could see each other. Mia was traveling to Japan to an important concert, Adam as well,was giving a concert in London. He couldn't believe that after all,Mia, the one he loved,would be gone again.While he was walking toward his hotel,divastated,he heard a voice that was coming from his back,a beautiful and pleasant voice, it was Mia,with a large smile on her face stared at Adam and begin to walk beside him towards ninth avenue,they took out a cigarette and began to smoke. Mia returned to see Adam because she realized that she cannot let go the person she loves.While they were walking they admired at the black night with tiny dazzling stars that light up the night. During the walk,Mia was getting hungry so they went to eat to a restaurant which was located in a parking lot right were they used to go eat when they were together.They had many discussions but as every time they fight Mia always had the reason, The discussion they have didnt had sense, in this case Mia said she likes restaurants that are in parking lots but in the other side Adam didnt agree.The unexpected meeting lasted until dawn and provide an opportunity to discuss what really happened in the past and what the future might await them.

We all should learn that nothing will last forever And that is the lesson this book is showing us.When people is happy they make promises that they would wish that where forever but on the end they realised that it wasn't . Mia and Adam had many secrets and deals  that made them  closer,but when they broke up all the secrets, deals or promises were broken-down.

"The clothes are packed off to goodwill I said my good byes up on that hill The house is empty,the furniture sold Soon your smell will decay to hold" (91)I

I like how the author makes quotes at the beginning of every chapter,most of them are messages or talks about what is going to happen on the chapter.I liked this quote because of the way it expresses the feelings of Adam, in this quote is interesting how it uses many words to describe one feeling,In this case Adam feels alone now that he is not with Mia anymore and he has to learn that there could be more girls and that are cases that happened in real life, that make me remember that many people forget that there are people who really love you when you feel alone.

Its interesting how time can decide everything in love and how things happen for a reason.If Mia didn't had the car accident that separate them maybe they will be still together or what if She didn't decide to be a chelist, things will no be as they are now. In my opinion life made a challenge for Adam and Mia to see if even though they were separate they could be together again and to show each other how much they love each other.I think that during the next chapters of this book they are going to realize that they were born for being together, docent matter how much time they lost of relationship during the past, now they both need to think what will happen on the future.

The Reunion

         Adam a teenager rock star is beginig his carrer as a singer, he has a band which is becoming very famous because of the good music and the impact the band has on people. One day he had an interview with a reporter named Vanessa, she made him many questions about his life as a singer, but one question impressed to Adam and made him wonder, she asked him if he was boyfriend of Mia in collage, Mia was Adams girlfriend in collage he really loved her but they both began their carriers and toked different ways. While they were planning to broke up Mia had a car accident with all her family, she was the only one that survived. Since that day Adam didn't know were she was because they lost all the communication. After the interiew Adam had the idea of going to see her in her concert of chelo because he found out she was in New York just where he was.That night after Mia found out that Adam was there  she called him to enter to back stage, that night they reunite them selfes again, they knew they were still in love but there was no way they could be together they both neded to take different ways because Adam was a rock star and Mia was a chelist.

Since this part of the book Adam show us, the readers,that she loved Mia more then anything so as she.I can connect with the feelings Adam was having because I know how it feels to let go a person you have loved for so long. Its interesting how Adam explain his feelings with examples and conversation he had with Mia before.I realized that Adam is a sensitive and big heart person who is willing to love Mia forever. 

 "My first impulse is not to grab her. I simply want  to touch her cheek,still flushed from the nights performance.I want to cut through the space that separate us, measured in feet not in miles not continents,not years and to take a callused finger to her face".(52)

I find  interesting how Adam is  still  in love with Mia after all the years the haven't seen each other and also how love have changed the perspective on life in a human. I had always wonder why does love change you as a person?, sometimes people change when they are in love even though they didn't mean to, it can change people in both ways bad or good. Its also interesting how Adam wished to kiss her but he cant because he had all his feelings mixed up, his heard told him to kiss her but the brain told him  not to.

I Think that love will make Adam and Mia be together again,even though they have many problems and they don't see each other. In this case, time will decide everything between them and I am sure that in the future they will realice that they are meant to be together  and that every problem between them are going to be solved.
